Did you know that Fairy Horses have the ability of selective invisibility? This means that unless they are flying these magical horses are able to make their wings invisible if they so choose. This makes it more difficult for humans to spot them.

Old Horse does not have wings, he was long ago enchanted by the fairies and though he ages, he never grows old.

Just like Scout, Nightingale and La Rosa have the ability as all Home Place Fairies do to make their wings invisible whenever they want to.

Old Horse has alerted the fairies that mortal children are approaching and suggests they depart for the Enchanted Forest with Scout.

Humankind is not prepared to see fairy folk and flying horses running about the meadow in the light of day no matter how much they may want to believe and so the fairies and Scout must head back to the forest before the children can see them.

“Come Scout”, La Rosa whispers ,”to the Enchanted Forest we go”.

Old Horse bids the fairies good day and he heads to greet the children. As they walk through the meadow to the stable one child looks over her shoulder and catches sight of a tiny soft twinkle.

“Could it be a fairy?”, she wonders as she walks away with Old Horse and the others for a day of adventure and play.
