Wandering about one fine autumn day, I spied two little fairy folk meandering with wands.

The two fairies stopped by the wayside as they wandered up Blue Fairy Hill, mumbling to themselves, wondering where their companion, their tiny sister Fae had wondered off to. Where did she go?

Red Cap and Pink Hat wondered as they wandered to the top of Blue Fairy Hill, where could their sister fairy Fae have wandered, where might she be?

When they reached the crest of the hill they both looked to the north; they both looked to the south,

They stood together and they stood apart.

Red Cap looked to the east; Pink Hat looked to the west,

No little fairy did they see.

They looked and they watched as the sun began to set,

as fairy dust they scattered across the fields sparkled and glowed.

Soon they headed down the hill back to the road calling Fae’s name, which is all just part of the three fairy sister’s game of hiding and seeking.

When they were back wandering the road, Red Cap whispered over her shoulder,  “Oh where have you wandered tiny sister Fae?”  “We cannot find you and want you to come with us and play.”

When Red Cap turned around forward, startled was she, for there stood tiny sister Fae all giggling and laughing, and she said, “Are you okay?”  Tiny little Fae just laughed out loud, “Simply wanderful!”

Wonderful!” whispered Red Cap. And off all three wandered, as dusk turned into night, their wands all sparkling as they giggled with delight.
